Crown Cut Eucalypt
Crown Cut Eucalypt is generally sliced from younger smaller logs of the three species of eucalypts, with the veneers exhibiting a range of colour, feature and grain patterns.
Crown veneer sliced from younger eucalypts produces some natural features that can be used as design elements.
Ripples from internal tensions, sound branch and pin knots, resin and hobnail streaks represents events that have occured during the growth of the tree and are features that are often used in the design to emphasise the 'naturalness' of the materials.
These features give a new dimension to the finished product.
