Environmental Management Audit Report

Gunns was the first forest manager certified to the Australian Forestry Standard (AFS) in 2003.

Gunns compliance with the AFS is independently verified and audited by renowned Norwegian firm Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

Gunns is audited every six months under the AFS. In line with our open and transparent approach to forest management, please find attached the latest AFS Summary Audit Report.

The audit found that Forest Practice Plans were diligently and comprehensively compiled according to the Forest Practices Code (Forest Practices Act 1985).

Nine separate criterion were assessed under the Audit Gunns successfully complied with all criteria.
